Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Astrovastum, we strive to provide exceptional service. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are provided for our subscription services.

2. Subscription Refunds

2.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions may be refunded within 7 days of initial purchase if:

  • You have not exceeded the free tier usage limits
  • You have not generated more than 10 charts
  • You have not accessed API endpoints (Professional tier)

Monthly renewals are not eligible for refunds.

2.2 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be refunded within 14 days of initial purchase if:

  • You have not exceeded the free tier usage limits
  • You have not generated more than 15 charts
  • You have not accessed API endpoints (Professional tier)

After the 14-day period, annual subscriptions are not refundable but may be canceled to prevent future charges.

2.3 Pro-Rated Refunds

We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial subscription periods. Upon cancellation, service continues until the end of the current billing period.

3. Exceptional Circumstances

3.1 Technical Issues

If platform outages or technical problems prevent you from using paid features for more than 72 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.

3.2 Billing Errors

If you are charged incorrectly due to system error, we will issue a full refund and credit within 5 business days.

3.3 Duplicate Charges

Duplicate charges resulting from payment processing errors will be refunded immediately upon verification.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewals after the initial purchase period
  • Partial months of service
  • Unused API calls or chart generation limits
  • Account terminations due to terms of service violations
  • Custom enterprise agreements (subject to contract terms)

5. Refund Request Process

5.1 How to Request

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@astrovastum.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Include your account email and subscription details
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. Provide any relevant documentation for technical issues

5.2 Processing Time

Refund requests are reviewed within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days and appear in your account within 10 business days depending on your payment method.

5.3 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your account settings dashboard
  • Email to support@astrovastum.com

6.2 Effect of Cancellation

Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to paid features until expiration
  • No further charges will be made
  • Your data is preserved for 90 days after expiration

7. Downgrades

Downgrading from a paid plan to a lower tier or free plan does not result in refunds for the remainder of the billing period. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current subscription term.

8. Trial Periods

Free trial periods (when offered) do not require payment information. No refunds are applicable as no charges are made during trials.

9. Enterprise and Custom Agreements

Refund terms for enterprise customers are governed by individual contract agreements and may differ from this standard policy.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may:

  • Request escalation to a senior support manager
  • Contact us at disputes@astrovastum.com
  • Initiate chargeback procedures through your payment provider (may result in account termination)

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Changes apply to purchases made after the update date. We will notify active subscribers of material changes.
