2. Service Description

Astrovastum provides astrological calculation software, interpretation engines, and related services through web-based and API interfaces. Services include but are not limited to:

• Natal chart calculation and analysis
• Transit and progression calculations
• Multi-system astrological intelligence
• API access for Professional tier subscribers
• Research and documentation resources

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to access most platform features. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain account security.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or security breaches.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

4.1 Plan Tiers

We offer three subscription tiers: Explorer (Free), Research ($29/month), and Professional ($79/month). Features and limitations are clearly described on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors.

4.3 Price Changes

We may modify pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers maintain current pricing until renewal.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Service continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Platform for lawful astrological research, consultation, and professional practice.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise platform security
• Exceed API rate limits or abuse system resources
• Resell or redistribute platform data without authorization
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Ownership

Astrovastum retains all rights to platform software, algorithms, design, and documentation. Your subscription grants a limited license to use services, not ownership.

6.2 User Data

You retain ownership of chart data you create. You grant us license to process and store this data to provide services.

6.3 API Usage

Professional tier API access does not grant rights to redistribute or resell our calculation engines or interpretation systems.

7. Data and Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Service Availability

8.1 Uptime

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

8.2 Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Critical features will not be removed without migration paths.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of astrological calculations or interpretations
• Fitness for specific purposes
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security against unauthorized access

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astrovastum shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding fees paid in the preceding 12 months

11. Professional Advice Disclaimer

Astrovastum provides astrological calculation tools and interpretation frameworks. Our services do not constitute professional advice regarding health, legal, financial, or personal decisions. Consult qualified professionals for such matters.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Astrovastum against claims arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
